When using your phone to sign in at a QR code poster, you may get the message “Gateway Timeout” that prevents you from completing the sign in.
This may be due to the phone using a school/organisation Wi-Fi network that has some restrictions. Putting your phone onto it’s own Wi-Fi mobile data network should resolve this.
