VPass is only compatible with iOS14+
1. On the iPad’s App Store, do a search for “VPass Kiosk”.
2. Install the App.
Upon opening the VPass Kiosk App, the iPad will ask if you would like to use Bluetooth. Tap OK (3).
4. Select your Region*.
*If in NZ, please use AU. If in EU or ZA use UK. Rest of world please use US.
5. Login to the VPass Kiosk App, using your Account Owner, Super Admin or Admin credentials.
6. You will then be prompted to assign the Site and Location for this device.
7. Tap Setup.
8. Next, a success message will appear.
9. You are now ready to do your first sign in.
Further Configuration
To best configure the iPad for use as a Kiosk, we recommend you also:
- Setup Guided Access
- Turn off keyboard Auto-Correction
- Turn off keyboard Auto-Lock
- Turn off keyboard Predictive Text (iPad)
Allow Camera Access
If when scanning a QR code, the iPad keeps asking to allow Camera Access, please go to Settings > Safari > Camera & Microphone Access. Toggle the switch on. A restart of the iPad may be necessary.
