Printer Setup – iPad Kiosk App – Bluetooth


 

VPass is only compatible with iOS14+…
Requires the Brother DK-22205 (DK-2205 in USA) 62mm print roll. Will not print otherwise.
Requires the installation of the black VPass Kiosk App on your iPad (Step 11). Some users may already have the blue VPass-Kiosk Home Screen icon on your iPad. It may be best to delete it to avoid confusion.

 

 

Brother QL-820NWB Printer Setup

1. At your Brother QL-820NWB printer, if you’re not already on the main screen, navigate there now using the [↩] button.

2. Press the [Menu] button.

3. Use the [▲] and [▼] buttons to select Bluetooth > Bluetooth (On/Off) > On in the settings menu. Press [OK].

4. Use the [▲] and [▼] buttons to select Bluetooth > Automatic Reconnection > On in the settings menu. Press [OK].

5. Press the [↩] button to return to the main screen.

6. You should see the Bluetooth icon in the top right.

 

Pair the Printer with the iPad

7. On your iPad, open the Settings (cog icon) app. Go to Settings > Bluetooth.

8. Ensure that Bluetooth is turned on.

 

9. Pair the Printer with your iPad.

 

10. The iPad is connected to Bluetooth.

 

11. On the iPad’s App Store, do a search for “VPass Kiosk”.

12. Install the App.

 

Upon opening the VPass Kiosk App, the iPad will ask if you would like to use Bluetooth. Tap OK (13).

 

14. Select your Region*.

*If in NZ, please use AU. If in EU or ZA use UK. Rest of world please use US.

 

15. Login to the VPass Kiosk App, using your Account Owner, Super Admin or Admin credentials.

You will then be prompted to assign the Site and Location for this device.

 

Upon reaching the home screen, tap and hold the VPass logo in the grey footer bar for 5-10 seconds (16).

17. When the Connect to printer window comes up, select Bluetooth.

 

18. Your Bluetooth printer is now connected. Close the window and do your first sign in.
